Terms of service

The rules that apply when you buy from us: how an order is formed, what the numbers on this site commit us to, thirty days to change your mind, and what the two warranties actually cover.

Last updated 27 August 2026

1. These terms

These terms apply to cemmoronx.com and to any purchase you make from CEMMORONX Esports Hardware (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you accept them. If you are buying as a consumer, nothing here reduces the statutory rights you have under the law of the country you live in; where a term below conflicts with those rights, your rights win and the rest of these terms still stand.

2. What we sell

Computer peripherals — mice, keyboards, headsets, surfaces and spare parts — and a line of three task chairs. Products are sold for personal and professional use. Nothing we make is a medical device, a safety device or a device for use in any application where a failure could cause injury.

3. Specifications, and what they commit us to

Every figure on this site is a measured figure from our own test rigs unless the page says otherwise, and we treat it as part of the description of the goods. If a product does not meet a published figure, that is a fault and section 8 applies.

Three consequences worth stating plainly:

  • Weights are the name. A mouse whose name contains a number weighs that number of grams, ±1 g, without cable and with the standard skates fitted. A revision that does not meet its name is renamed rather than reissued.
  • Latency figures are stage-by-stage. The published 1.09 ms median covers switch detection, report interval, radio and host stack, measured on our rig on 2.4 GHz at 8 kHz. It does not include your display, your operating system's scheduling under load, your game engine or your network, and no claim is made about those.
  • Battery figures are stated with their conditions. Where two figures are given — for example 90 hours at 1 kHz and 26 hours at 8 kHz — both are part of the description, and the lower one is not a footnote.

Photography and illustration are representative. Colours vary between screens. We may make minor improvements that do not affect a published specification without notice; anything that changes a published figure changes this site in the same release.

4. Orders and payment

This site has no checkout. You send an enquiry by email; we reply with a price, a shipping date and a payment link. A contract is formed when we confirm your order in writing after payment clears — not when you send the enquiry, and not when the payment link is issued. Until then we may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or a price is wrong.

Payment is handled by a third-party payment provider under its own terms. We never receive or store your card details.

5. Prices, tax and duty

Prices on this site are in US dollars and exclude import duty and local sales tax, which are payable by you to your carrier or customs authority on arrival. We declare the true contents and value of every shipment and will not under-declare a parcel on request.

If a price is obviously wrong — an order of magnitude out, a decimal in the wrong place — we will tell you before taking payment and you are free to walk away.

6. Delivery and risk

Peripherals ship free and tracked worldwide. Chairs ship free within the markets listed at the time of order and are quoted individually elsewhere; a chair is a bulky, heavy freight item and we will always tell you the cost before you pay.

Orders are dispatched within one working day of cleared payment where the item is in stock. Delivery dates are estimates and depend on the carrier. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Returns

You have thirty days from delivery to change your mind about anything, whether or not you have used it, provided it comes back complete — with skates, cables, keycaps, spare parts, tools and packaging. We refund the price within fourteen days of receiving the goods back.

Return shipping is yours on a change-of-mind return, including for chairs, where it is not trivial. If the goods are faulty or not as described, we pay for the return leg. Where the law of your country gives you a longer or stronger cancellation right, that right applies instead of this section.

8. Warranty

Two years on peripherals, from the date of delivery: switches, sensors, encoders, batteries, cables and electronics. Five years on chair frames, gas lifts and tilt mechanisms, and two years on chair upholstery, foam and castors.

Not covered:

  • Wear on consumable parts — mouse skates, keycaps, earpads, cable jackets, chair castors — all of which are orderable as spares.
  • Damage from accident, liquid, disassembly, third-party repair, or use outside the rated load of a chair.
  • Cosmetic marks that do not affect function.

To claim, email us with your order reference and a description. We repair, replace or refund at our option. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and never in place of them.

9. Software and firmware

CEMMORONX Tuner and our firmware images are licensed to you, not sold, for use with CEMMORONX hardware. You may not redistribute modified firmware or use it on other manufacturers' devices. We provide them “as is”; installing firmware carries an inherent risk of interrupting the process, and every superseded image stays available so a bad update is recoverable.

Tuner requires a browser that supports WebHID. We do not warrant that any particular browser or operating system will continue to support it.

10. Competitive play

Our products are built to be legal under the rules commonly applied by tournament organisers, and we deliberately do not ship SOCD cleaning, snap-tap or equivalent null-bind resolution for that reason. However, rules differ between organisers and change over time, and it is your responsibility to check the rules of the event you are entering. We make no representation that any product or firmware setting is permitted at any particular competition.

11. Liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not liable for business losses — lost profits, lost opportunity, lost tournament winnings or business interruption — and we do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the place where CEMMORONX is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in and may bring proceedings in your own local courts.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; the version that applies to your purchase is the one published when your order was confirmed. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
